We now have
The Prozacs "Playing The Chords We Love" on
vinyl in stock courtesy of No Breaks Records
and Nowhere Records. The LP version
features a song ("Let's Sniff Glue") that is
not on the CD version. We have it on
both white and gold vinyl but we only have a
limited amount.
We still have some copies of "Dispense This
Too!" left but not too many. The Fake
Boys are leaving for tour in July and they
should have copies to give out at their
shows. - Jason.

"Dispense
This Too!" is done! The discs arrived
yesterday and I spent the night putting them
together. This disc acts as a label
sampler so if you'd like a copy you will be
able to obtain one for free at either
Insubordination Fest or Going Nowhere Fest
this summer. If you are not attending
either you can order one directly from us
for only $2ppd! Basically we are
asking that you pay the shipping and that's
it. You can order it
HERE. If you order anything else from us
you will receive a copy with your order.
Enjoy! - Jason.

The Rich
White Males CD officially comes out on
Tuesday June 2nd so if you haven't already
ordered it from us directly run on over to
www.interpunk.com and order it!
Newbury Comics will have it as well so if
you live in New England pop in to one of
their stores and grab a copy.
"Dispense This Too!" will be arriving
sometime this week, so that will be
available shortly.
I lowered the prices on a few of our
releases to hopefully get rid of the last
remaining copies we have. "How To
Stretch A Dollar", Whoopie Cushion, Plan B,
Nothing Famous, and The Budgets CDs are all
$4ppd and "Monsters Night Out" is now $6ppd.
You can still order both The Prozacs
"Playing The Chords We Love" and "Monsters
Night Out" for $10ppd. - Jason.
5/13/09
The Rich
White Males disc has arrived! Yes,
that's right "We've Come To Kick Ass And
Play Bubblegum" is here but the official
release date is June 2nd. It is up on
the site to order if you please - who knows
you might receive it before the release
date. You can order it
HERE!
The inserts for the Los DiMaggios/Mcrackins
split should be arriving on Monday - I'm
excited and looking forward to seeing what
the final product looks like.
"Dispense This Too!" will finally be coming
out in the next couple weeks. After
nearly ditching the whole project altogether
I retooled the whole thing. It will
now have a whole new track listing and will
act as a label sampler. We are only
pressing 200 copies to start and it will be
offered for free at this year's
Insubordination Fest and the Going Nowhere
Fest. Copies will be available for
mailorder and will only cost $2 (which is
basically to cover the shipping).
We still have a few button packs that go
along with the Grandprixx disc left but they
seem to be going fast - so if you'd like one
I'd suggest ordering one as soon as you can.
Later skaters! - Jason.

Here's a bit
of a longer update... I shouldn't have
hurried on the other one - I made a few
mistakes (all of which I believe I have now
corrected). I had the name of The Rich
White Males album written out wrong and I
had Los Di Maggios listed as an Italian band
when inf act they are from France.
Even though I knew they were from France I
must have been confused at the moment - it
was one of those days. I seem to have
a lot of those days lately. Anyway,
one of the new records that I failed to
mention as well is a 7" for the band The
Nappies. I have been planning on doing
a 7" for The Nappies since last summer and
it looks like we are getting really close to
having it complete. The Sugar Eater 7"
should be coming out soon along with another
7" that is a surprise.
I had briefly mentioned The Rich White Males
album, for those not familiar with The Rich
White Males they are a thrashy pop-punk band
from San Diego (first left coast band on
Cheapskate). Those who have already
picked up their 7" on Cabana 1 should really
dig the full length CD.
Now for some bad news - Erika from Little
Type (one of our distributors) passed away
on April 2nd. I had been holding off
writing something about it on here because
for awhile I didn't really know what I
should write or say. I still really
don't know what to say. I was floored
by the news. Even though I never got
to meet Erika in person we did talk quite a
bit through email and I had even asked her
about meeting in person at Insubordination
Fest in 2007. She responded and told
me that she was unable to attend but was
sending Dr. Frank in her place. She
will be missed. - Jason.
4/12/09
I had planned
on typing a really long update but I'm kind
of pressed for time at the moment, so this
one will be short and sweet (just like me,
haha). The Grandprixx "Prixxology" CD
is finally here and is now available to
order. The first 50 orders will
receive a button pack along with the CD.
You can order the Grandprixx disc
HERE.
I tell it was worth the long wait.
We've got a bunch of new releases in the
works including two split records with the
Mcrackins. We are excited to be
working with those Canadian eggheads again.
The first record will be a split with The
Prozacs entitled "Somebody Out There Loves
Us." The second is a split with French pop-punk band Los Di Maggios.
Both records are going to be killer!
We are also proud to add The Rich White
Males to our line up - in June we will the
release of their full length CD "We've
Come To
Kick Ass And Play Bubblegum."
More information on these releases and a few
others coming really soon. - Jason.
3/7/09
It has been a
long time coming but The Grandprixx "Prixxology"
CD is finally on its way! If
everything goes according to schedule the 'prixx
CD should be available in April. I for
one, cannot wait - the CD sounds great and
the artwork looks great! It is jam
packed with 42 songs. Stay tuned! -
Jason.

Good news
everybody! The Lanterns "Postcard
Picture" CD is done and we now have it in
our possession! I've added it to the
site already so if you'd like to order it you
can order it
HERE. I'm so glad Geoff
Useless introduced me to The Lanterns, they
have become one of my favourite bands.
I love the country twang in a few of their
songs on the new EP. Their songs are
very honest to boot. "Postcard
Picture" might not be pop-punk per se but it
is a damn fine release.
The Popsters "Our Bites Bring You Back" LP
has also arrived and quite few fans have
already order copies. The gold records
really look great, actually the whole
package looks really really fantastic!
Very pleased with the way they turned out.
-- Jason.

First update
of the new year! The Popsters "Our
Bites Bring You Back" LP should be arriving
next week! Can't wait! For all
those that pre-ordered I will be mailing out

Speaking of The Popsters, there should be an
interview with them in the latest issue of
AMP Magazine. Both The Manges "Rocket
To Hollywood" LP and The Lanterns "Postcard
Picture" CD have been sent off to be
pressed. We expect The Lanterns CD to
be done by the end of Feb. Excited
about both of these releases!
We are now distributed by both
Indie
Pool and
Diskery
in Canada as well as
Disk
Union USA in Japan. - Jason.
12/20/08

got a lot of great records in there.

- Jason.
11/22/08
Two updates in one week, wow! We are
proud to say that The Prozacs "Playing The
Chords We Love" CD have arrived and is now
available for purchasing! We have
decided to offer a bit of a deal to
celebrate the release of "Playing The Chords
We Love." For a limited time you can

and The Prozacs "Monsters Night Out" CD for
only $10ppd (US)/$12ppd (International)!
Trust me both these disc are worth every
penny! If you already own "Monsters
Night Out" but would like to take advantage
of this deal don't worry - I'm willing to
send The Prozacs "Live At CBGB" in place of
"Monsters...", just let me know what you'd
like. Plus if you order "Playing The
Chords We Love" now you will be enter into a
contest to win a prize pack from Cheapskate
Records (one prize will be a test pressing
of the "Pieces" 7"). More details on
the contest to come. You can order
"Playing The Chords We Love"
HERE. - Jason.
11/17/08
The Fake Boys
"Pop Punk Is Dead" is here! You can
order it HERE - make sure that you do order
it, it's a great CD! "Pop Punk Is
Dead" should be available on Interpunk
within a week and it will also be available
at Newbury Comics in the Boston area.
Speaking of Newbury Comics - in the coming
weeks you should be able to find Cheapskate
releases at Newbury Comics store all
throughout New England. If the store
you stop in doesn't have the release you are
looking for ask them about it - they should
be able to order it. More releases on
the way! - Jason.
11/9/08
Another
update. Yes, there's lots going on
around here. We've got two brand new
releases on the way - The Fake Boys "Pop
Punk Is Dead" and The Prozacs "Playing The
Chords We Love." I know I've been
talking about the Fake Boys CD for so long
but the wait for its release is almost up.
It should be arriving at Cheapskate Manor
around Nov. 21st. As for the Prozacs
disc, I know I haven't mentioned it really
at all. "Playing The Chords We Love"
was originally slated to be released on
another label but due to circumstances
beyond their control they became unable to
release it. I offered to release the
new Prozacs album and the rest is history.
The Prozacs "Playing The Chords We Love"
will be released in Dec. 2008.
The Lanterns 7" has been upgraded to a CDEP.
The Lanterns recently recorded 6 songs -
only 3 of which were going on the 7" we were
planning on releasing. The band would
rather not split up the 6 songs so we've
decided to release them all on one CD.
Hopefully The Lanterns "Postcard
Picture"
will be out early 2009. The Grandprixx
"Prixxology" CD and "Dispense This Too!"
will be out soon, I swear. - Jason.
9/27/08
It's 7:30AM but I needed to post because
there are some exciting things going on
around here. The Popsters "Our Bites
Bring You Back" CD is here! They
arrived yesterday and are now available on
the website. You can go
HERE to order
it. So if you like The Descendents,
The Parasites or Big Drill Car be sure to
check out the Popsters. The LPs are in
the process of being pressed but will not be
ready until sometime in Nov. The Fake
Boys "Pop Punk Is Dead" is up next, which
should be ready in Nov.
Issue #34 of AMP Magazine just hit the
newstands and it contains an interview with
The Guts. Be sure to check it out, you
should be able to find it at any Borders or
Barnes & Noble. Issue #35 should have
an interview with The Mcrackins so be on the
lookout for that in the coming months.
Get on board, man! - Jason.
9/9/08
I felt it was
time for another post. The Mcrackins
album has been out for alittle bit now and
it seems to be doing rather well. If
you haven't picked up a copy yet please do
so. It's a really good album and the
reviews I've seen so far say that they have
really gotten back to their old sound.
The Popsters "Our Bites Bring You Back" CD
and LP have been sent off to be pressed.
We expect the CD to be done around Oct. 10th
and the LP should be done sometime after
that. Speaking of the LP, we are
pressing 500 total - 200 on yellow and 300
on black.
The Lanterns have recorded new songs for
their 7". They seem to be really
excited about them. The Grandprixx CD
is finally coming along. J Prozac
swears it will come out this year!
A few new releases are in the works but more
on that later. - Jason.
8/7/08
The Mcrackins "Eggzit" CD is finally here!
Or I should say it will be here today - it's
on the UPS truck scheduled to be delivered.
You can order it
HERE and I
should be able to mail your copy out today.
It will be up on Interpunk, Punk N Junk and
all those other sites next week or so.
Order the CD today, you won't be
disappointed!

Magazine (Issue #33) you will find an
interview with The Leftovers. Also
featured in Issue #33 is an interview with
Blase Debris and The Designer Drugs - two
band from Upstate New York (Blase Debris is
actually from Schenectady just like us).
Go Upstate! Keep an eye out for AMP
Magazine Issue #34 - it will feature an
interview with The Guts. -- Jason.
