CSR020 V/A "Dispense This Too!" compilation CD

Another pez themed sampler CD from us folks at Cheapskate Records.  This time around the artwork will be done by a fellow pez collector and will feature songs by The Prozacs, Rydells, Leftovers, The Guts, Johnie 3, The Grandprixx, Sugar Eater, The Riptides, The Sheckies, Glenn Theory and The Portland All-Stars, Hollywood Blondes, and lots more.  Below is the tenative track listing (which will be changing as I get more of the songs from the bands):

CSR021 Sugar Eater "SLP" 7"

A new addition to the Cheapskate family but not really a new band.  I've known these guys for quite awhile now (there was even a time when I was asked to be in the band).  I'm really glad to be working with them because they are a stellar local band.  For those who have seen Sugar Eater before  you should be familiar with their song "SLP" - this record will feature a newly recorded version of the song.

CSR023 The Grandprixx
"Prixxology" CD

Before Jay was in The Prozacs he fronted an ultra fast pop-punk band called The Grandprixx. While together the 'Prixx released numerous records that have now gone out of print. We are bringing all those records together and putting them on one CD. The fun doesn't stop there though - we are also including their original 11 song demo, demo tracks from "Drive Me Crazy", and other rare tracks. This will be crammed with 40+ songs on one CD! CSR027 The Lanterns "Untitled" 7"

We are proud to welcome the Lanterns to the Cheapskate family!  The Lanterns are a power-pop band from Portsmouth NH.  I have to thank Geoff Useless for introducing this band to me.  They will heading into the studio in Sept. to record their to be titled record for us.

CSR028 The Popsters "Our Bites Bring You Back" CD/LP

Another new addition to the Cheapskate family!  We are very excited to have these Italian boys on board (man)!  Think the Descendents and Big Drill Car mixed with the Parasites and The Ramones but from Italy and you get the Popsters.  We will be handling both the CD version and the LP of this one!
